Economic Outlook - a part of Nordic Compass Summit

As part of Nordic Compass Summit, Business Region Göteborg invites you to Economic Outlook 2026, an exclusive gathering of business leaders, policymakers and decision-makers to discuss the economic outlook for Gothenburg and the Nordic region.

• Drawing on the newly released Economic Outlook report, Business Region Göteborg will present the latest on the economic developments in the Gothenburg region. We are also pleased to welcome Jens Magnusson, Chief Economist at SEB, who provide a Nordic perspective on growth, competetivenessand the economic outlook. 

• The seminar will continue with a panel discussion:Can the Nordics become Europe's growth engine? And what does that mean for businesses in Gothenburg?

Following the seminar, participants are invited to attend the official Opening Ceremony of the Nordic Compass Summit, featuring keynote remarks by Jyrki Katainen, former Prime Minister of Finland and former Vice-President of the European Commission, as well as discussions on Nordic defence and economic competitiveness.
