Our indicators show that the regional economy has entered a strong recovery phase. Among other things, the economic tendency for the Gothenburg region's companies has shifted to a boom situation and GDP growth in the region's key markets is forecast to be stronger than previously expected.
Our indicators show clear signs that the regional economy, during the beginning of the year, has slowly started on a recovery path. Among other things, the tendency for the Gothenburg region's companies gears up to a normal, yet strong position. At the same time, key markets’ growth expectations are further strengthened. Unemployment in the region continues to decrease and redundancies remain at record low levels.
NCSH has, on behalf of Business Region Gothenburg, developed 2 different matrices that will serve as a guide of how Life Science companies & organisations can work with the global goals. In addition to these two matrices, a third matrix has also been created as a guide to the European Green Deal.
This report highlights the synergies and links that exist between different Life Science segments, the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and the targets of the European Green Deal. The SDGs are an important component of all sustainability initiatives at both the national and international levels.
