Economic Outlook #4 2026
Companies in the Gothenburg region are reporting significantly stronger economic conditions in the fourth quarter of the year. The Economic Outlook Indicator has risen to 107.4, placing the region firmly in a strong business cycle. The turnaround in the construction sector, combined with growing optimism among manufacturers, is driving the improvement, while employment continues to grow and unemployment moves closer to long-term average levels.
