Rasmus Heyman

I work as a Business Developer at Business Region Gothenburg, focusing on the cultural and creative industries. If you are interested in how culture can contribute to growth, innovation and attractive cities, I would be delighted to hear from you.

A large part of my work involves creating collaboration between the cultural sector, businesses and the public sector. I enjoy bringing together people, ideas and organisations around shared opportunities and challenges. Together, we can often achieve more than we could individually.

I lead initiatives that strengthen collaboration and long-term development within the cultural sector. One example is Collective Action for Culture, where we bring organisations together to address shared opportunities and challenges. I am also involved in developing the Gothenburg Cultural Network, where organisations meet to share experiences, identify common priorities and develop new collaborations.

At the same time, I serve as Process Lead for Attractiveness within The City of Gothenburg’s Business Development Strategy Programme. In this role, I focus on how culture, innovation and urban development can work together to create a vibrant, relevant and competitive region.

During my years at Business Region Gothenburg, I have held several roles focused on developing the cultural and design sectors and strengthening Gothenburg’s innovation capacity and attractiveness. A common thread throughout my work has been building bridges between different perspectives and helping create a shared direction.
