Process Manager
Pernilla Blom
I work to strengthen the business climate across the Gothenburg region. In my role, I lead the City of Gothenburg’s working group within the Business Strategic Programme, where we collaborate to improve the conditions for businesses to start, operate, and grow.
A strong business climate is created when it is easy to run a business. That is why we focus on high-quality service, professional engagement, efficient and predictable processes, and close, ongoing dialogue with the business community. Our goal is to make it easier for companies to grow and contribute to the region’s development.
An important part of this work is the city-wide initiative The City and the Business Community. Through this initiative, we bring together stakeholders to strengthen the business climate, enhance collaboration across the city administration, and ensure that small businesses receive the right support at the right time. The work includes digital learning initiatives for employees, networking forums such as Business Climate Forum, and support for managers leading development and improvement efforts within their organisations.
I am always happy to share our experiences of driving change in both working practices and organisational culture, as well as the results we are already seeing through long-term collaboration and a shared commitment to improvement.
Previously, I worked with skills and workforce development at Business Region Gothenburg and have held leadership positions within the non-profit sector, with responsibility for organisational development and change management.
