Kristina Levan

I work as a Business Development Manager focusing on life science in the Gothenburg region. My role is to strengthen the ability of companies to grow and collaborate – particularly in the interplay between industry, academia and healthcare.

In my work, I start from the needs of the regional ecosystem. I contribute by developing collaborations, shaping strategic directions and coordinating initiatives that strengthen the conditions for innovation and growth. An important part of my role is also to connect regional efforts with national and European collaborations, creating the best possible conditions for companies and organisations here.

I have a background in life science with experience from healthcare, research and strategic development. I hold a PhD in the field and have a strong understanding of how research, innovation and application connect. Previously, I worked at Sahlgrenska University Hospital, where I was involved in building and developing work around advanced therapies (ATMPs – advanced therapy medicinal products), including as centre director. I have also been engaged in national collaborations focusing on innovation, skills supply, clinical trials and the implementation of new treatments.
