Internationally recognized Nordic test field for durability evaluation of wood-based materials and finishes primarily for outdoor use.
The testbed consists of:
- 3 different test fields for outdoors test
- 1 maritime station (Fiskebäckskil)
- 2 laboratories (Stockholm and in Borås)
The testbed provides evaluation of eg:
- Resistance to rotting fungi
- Staining and mold growth
- Marine pests
- Dimensional stability
- Surface properties
- Artificial aging
