3D-bioprinting
2 March 2023
With 3D bioprinting, it is possible to build biological structures by combining a biological or synthetic material with living cells.
3D bioprinting can, for example, be used to test biological properties of drugs or chemicals and to develop future spare parts for the human body. Within RISE, we develop competence within the manufacturing process itself and study the properties and function of 3D bioprinted systems. 3D-Bioprinting, additive manufacturing of structures with materials (hydrogels, biomaterials, polymers, ceramics) with or without cells and subsequent evaluation (biological, chemical, physical).
