KPIT Technologies established a new technology center at Lindholmen in Gothenburg, strengthening its presence in the Nordic region. The establishment confirmed Gothenburg’s position as a global hub for software-driven and sustainable mobility. The investment was made with the ambition of rapidly growing a local team and building local expertise.

Background

KPIT Technologies had long worked globally with software for the automotive industry and was looking for a Nordic base close to leading vehicle manufacturers.

The contact was established through Business Region Göteborg's work with international investments, and the dialogue early on focused on Gothenburg’s strengths in sustainable mobility, software development and access to talent.
